Week 21, 2026

Highlights

The best part of the week was a road trip to Rameshwaram with Nishanth and Omkar. We started from Bangalore. Stopped at a couple of A2B outlets on the way. Then we had lunch at Annapoorna Mithai in Madurai, which was really good. We reached Rameshwaram in the evening. Stayed in a government holiday home that Omkar had arranged.

The morning we went to the Ramanathaswamy Temple and finished darshan really quickly. After breakfast we drove to Dhanushkodi. The roads were nice with water on both sides. It was crowded but really peaceful and beautiful.

We did not stay another night in Rameshwaram as we had planned. Instead we started our journey back to Bangalore the day. We took a route via Trichy and Salem. This route was much nicer than the NH44 route. We stopped at Bharani Bhavan Veg Restaurant near Trichy. Omkar had a traditional Tamil Nadu-style thali for the first time and he really liked it. We also stopped at Basil Town Global in Salem for cheesecake, which was mainly a restroom break. Then we went back to Bangalore at night.

Social

I met Akshay, Renuka and Vidushi in Indiranagar over the weekend. We spent the afternoon talking and having coffee, pasta and ice cream at Milano. It was really nice to catch up with them.

Gaming

The new game Forza Horizon 6 is out now. I finally got to play it. It is really different from Overwatch, which I usually play. The game is set in Japan and it is visually so beautiful. I just kept driving and exploring the world.

Purchases

I bought the Solace riding gloves after looking at many options. I am looking forward to using them on my rides.
